In lesson one, I feel I've learned a bit about the role of a teacher, but more about the differences in learners. What stuck out to me most is the way, generally speaking, adults and young learners each offer their own set of pros and cons. An example of this is how adults generally come with greater motivation to learn, yet often times, are harder to teach being that they also come with their own experiences and history of what works and doesn't in terms of learning, while young learners are generally a bit more resistant to learning, yet are easier to teach as they lack the experience or hesitance that comes with many adult learners.
