This unit provided some good basic information on classroom environment and management. In my opinion, good classroom management the most important skill that an educator needs. I am very much a proponent of taking time at the beginning of the school year to establish routines and classroom community. I appreciate how this unit listed pros and cons for each type of classroom setup and learning method. I have used all of these in a variety of ways and this unit helped validate that I am using appropriate classroom management techniques.
