This unit was comprised of four major grammar points all of which were quite difficult. These items were: modal auxiliary verbs, the passive voice, and then an extremely brief [too brief] overview of phrasal verbs and relative clauses. The chart given for the modals was very confusing and contradicted, in one case, the material provided in the video. As usual, however, the teaching ideas were very very helpful; so too the video -- in general [the teachers here are superb]. I would write more here but cannot think of other material to fill up the word quota. So, I will take up space with some passive or active sentences: "The passive-aggressive narcissist lost the big game big time." Versus: "the big game was lost by the passive-aggressive narcissist, big time." I just remembered what I was going to say: the general rules for this course might want to say: "Preliminarily, the answers to the task questions shall not be given out. But, after stringing the student along for various emails, the answers may in fact be given out. But that will all depend on whether the chickens are glazed or not. If the chickens are glazed, then only every other sub-answer to one question will be given out; but if the chickens are un-glazed, then no answers at all will be provided to that one little question. As for all the other questions, one would want to consult with the red wheelbarrow. If one gets down on their knees and begs, then the red wheelbarrow might just be willing to pull a wheelie and peel out. But if not, then no wheelie and so soup for you!! Thank you. Big time.
