This unit introduces the different teaching aids and equipment that can be used during a lesson in order to have a variety of activities able to stimulate the students and attract their attention. The items described vary from really cheap ones such as blackboard, worksheets, pictures and CD player to expensive equipment not affordable to every English school like interactive whiteboard, overhead projector and computers. For each teaching aid, the unit describes its main characteristics as well as advantages and disadvantages of using that determined item during the lesson.
