This unit made it clear for me that even more “complicated subjects” can be explained in a simple manner. I think both the conditional and reported speech often lead to confusion and, are not so easy to explain to students. Although, I would have liked to have some additional clearer explanations, especially for the conditional. Perhaps something a little bit more visual. I very much liked the activities at the end of the unit. It helped me realise that I know the topic but that I very deep knowledge of rules is needed in order to explain it to learners. Again, the lesson plan simulation is a great exercise to prepare for real-life teaching!
