Reading and listening are very important to learning. As a teacher, I always worked on vocabulary with students so they could feel more confident with words that appear difficult but once learn will help when they read the selection. Listening is where the students need to hear the words, be able to better understand what saying or hearing. I feel students need to practice both of these to be better learners. Once they can understand the reading, they will be able to answer questions better.
