This unit discussed the various qualities and roles of teachers, and their application during a lesson. It also discussed a number of factors to consider when engaging with learners, and what constitutes a good learner. It considered different types of motivation, and highlighted common differences between adult learners and young learners. We examined the various language levels and their typical abilities at each stage. From this unit, I have learnt the importnace of being a sensitive and caring teaching, and to ensure that lessons are varied and interesting.
