In this unit we learn more about Present tenses. Present Tenses are grouped into four. And all tenses will cover the Form, usages, typical error and active stage teaching ideas of each stage. Present Simple: It is in general action in the present. For example in Affirmative form I work, In Negative form I Don't work. In Question form Do I work? It is used for routine actions or permanent situations or commentaries or directions or newspaper headlines or historical sequence. Some of the activated teaching ideas are Find someone game, questionnaires, guessing my profession and information Gap. Present Continues: Its also Called Present Progressive, In this tense the action is still in continuity. For example I am learning in affirmative form, I am not learning in negative form, And Am I learning in a Question form. Its used , to describing a developing situation, or background events in present story, or talking about actions that is in progress at the time of speaking or to emphasize very frequent actions. Some ideas for this tenses are Mime, picture of action, Pictionary, present continuous brainstorming , time zone. Present Perfect: in this tense action is done in the past but its related in the present. Like I have written in affirmative stage , I haven't written in the negative stage , And Have I written ? in the question stage. It is used for talking about finished action that happened at indefinite time, when we are thinking about completed past action carried out in an unfinished time period at the time of speaking. when we describe past actions with present results. simple active stage ideas are find someone game, what have you done today, change the room, song U2 and Role play. Present Perfect Continuous: This tense relates past activities to present. It implies that the activity is likely to continue in future or the activity was in progress for some length of time or both. like I have been dancing in affirmative form, I haven't been dancing in negative form and have I been dancing in question form. Its used to communicate an incomplete and ongoing activity, when we want to say how log it has continued. and to describe recently finished uninterrupted activity which has a present result.
