After going through all the grammar and vocab in this TEFL training, it is so surprising (and almost scary) to me that this is considered the basics of grammar. I don't recall learning much of this in my English classes. The modal verbs and participles were particularly difficult to me, because the rules for grammar are so loose and almost considered guidelines that it is hard to identify what is what.
