This unit discussed coursebooks and lesson materials. Prior to this unit, I had not put consideration into the coursebooks and their pros and cons. A lot of the places that I want to teach are economically disadvantaged. I imagine there will not be a lot of good materials to work with. Some of the job listings for the jobs I want in Africa specifically say that materials are scarce. It is good to have a reference for what to look for and/or bring to the country with me.
