This unit was based on troubleshooting and covered areas such as encountering different levels in classes, large classes, students using their native language and reluctant students. Each area was addressed and possible solutions provided. The unit also covered the first lesson and provided potential activities designed to break the ice, build rapport and aid the students in getting to know one another as well as the teacher. This kind of information is particularly useful in helping a teacher walk into a new class more comfortably.
