This unit covered course book and lesson materials. It discussed authentic materials which include newspapers, brochures, menus and why to use them in the classroom. They can be more interesting to students, help them gain confidence and can be geared to a particular interest. Created materials are cross words, word searches, flashcards and are created by the teacher. Course books have advantages and disadvantages but should still be used in the classroom.
