This unit has been beneficial in helping me to understand different teaching techniques, and the value of variety. As someone who has studied many languages, I have definitely tried a montage of techniques. This lesson helped me to see why those and others are/will be beneficial for myself and my students. Learning about 'ESA' was also interesting, because this is similar approach to one I've taken with students of other subjects, and I can say that this method truly is beneficial. As long as I am aware of each facet of ESA, I have every sort of flexibility. That's beneficial for truly engaging the students, observing their needs, and keeping the class upbeat, refreshing, and practical.
