In this unit, the future tenses in English were enumerated and the form and usage of each tense were analyzed. Examples were given and possible methods for teaching each tense were discussed.
English has many future tenses and the future represents a challenge both for learners and teachers. The tenses include future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, the going to perfect, and the present simple and present continuous used in a manner which implies something about the future.
I found the unit instructive and feel more prepared as a teacher for answering questions about the subtle ways in which one tense differs from another.
