I think this lesson provides interesting insight into the use of text books and materials. I enjoyed learning that text books can be both useful and not so useful to the teacher. I think allows for creativity in the classroom by not totally relying on text books. I'm not sure when I start teaching if the school will have text books or not, so this is very useful information. Additionally I liked the samples given in the lesson.
