This unit showed me two example classes: one with an effective teacher, and one with an ineffective teacher. In my opinion, the effective teacher had two major characteristics that changed the lesson from bad to good. One: he was much more friendly and enjoyable. He could also respond to the students' social queues and adjust the lesson appropriately. And two: the lesson was much more fluid. Rather than jumping from one thing to another abruptly, the whole lesson flowed together and by linking all those things together, the students were able to understand a lot more.
