Unit 1 was an interesting unit. This unit has educated me on the differences between Young Learners an adult learners, the different levels of learners, what makes a good student and what makes a good teacher. I am now aware that it is okay to have a different style of teaching as well as different expectations for each student. I especially enjoyed learning about the different roles of the teacher. I learned that being an organizer is the most important role for a teacher to have. I also learned that it is important for the teacher to be ready to switch roles. I feel that I will have to use different roles for each student that I teach. I am looking forward to teaching English online two individuals who live all around the world.
