This unit was quite an undertaking for someone out of high school for nearly 10 years. Writing and English subjects in general have always come naturally to me, however when writing I never think of the 'why' behind the structure. This unit had me dredge up forgotten knowledge from middle school through high school and I even came across one or two things I could swear I'd never heard to begin with (gerund). I feel I will definitely need some more practice with this on my own time but I feel the notes I took from this unit will be some of the most helpful in the course.
