This unit was an overview of different tools that ESL teachers can use in the classroom. The unit gave an overview of how to use a number of teaching aids, including whiteboards, overhead projectors, computers, DVDs/CDs, and video cameras. I found this unit interesting because it made me reflect on my own time as a student, and think back to how different teachers used aids effectively/ineffectively. I thought the section on how to properly use a whiteboard/chalkboard was especially helpful - the unit did a good job outlining key ways to effectively use the whiteboard, including using different colors and minimizing unnecessary capitalization.
