Unit 5: Past Tenses acts as a good review of the four past tenses found in the English language. I appreciated the way in which the tenses were presented in the video. By detailing the structure, uses, and teachable techniques for each tense, I was able to compare and contrast the differences easily. In addition, the summary section of the video was invaluable. By illustrating each tense side by side, a clear comparison was achieved. I believe this comparison technique would be helpful in my classroom when instructing the tenses. I plan on utilizing the creative teaching tools presented for each tense in my classroom. I am grateful for the real-life examples provided, which allows for interested classroom experiences.
