While teaching the productive skills of writing will not be a main focus, speaking definitely will be. Both parts are important, but it does make sense that students are more eager to learn how to speak in the English language than write in it. I learned many different ways to get the class excited and engaged to speak even though it as the potential to be a nerve wrecking experience for them. I have learned skills to minimize this.
