This unit was an overview of different types of special classes an ESL teacher might have to take responsibility for. The unit went over several different situations, including how to teach beginner students, and how to go about planning and teaching business English classes. On the business English side, it is important to note that although students are likely motivated, they may be tired when attending class and their attendance may be sporadic. It is also important to give students a needs analysis at the beginning of a business English course, as this will allow the teacher to figure out how to most effectively cater lessons to the student's needs.
