This unit mainly discussed the importance of modal verbs in English communication and it also covers phrasal verbs, the passive voice and relative clauses.
In this unit I learnt the basic rules for Modal Auxiliary Verbs and that all modal verbs have the following feature in common; They are always followed by the infinitive without to. They are the same for all pronouns they do not need auxiliaries. They take direct negative and question forms. They never combine with another modal verb.
