This Unit has been particularly helpful in building confidence in new teachers and reminding experienced teachers about the fundamental principals of classroom management. This is done by giving different options for grouping students, showcasing the benefits and cons for each grouping style. It also tells the teacher in which situation to use specific grouping styles. The unit dealt with issues that might appear in the classroom and gave valuable advice and techniques to overcome these obstacles. If a teacher creates a good rapport with students whilst maintaining their full respect there will be fewer discipline problems. Another effective section of the unit was about using the voice, eyes, and gestures while presenting a lesson. This will keep the students engaged, and interested in what is being taught. If students are engaged in the lesson, they will be more disciplined in class.
