This unit introduced the basics of teaching including what attributes to show as a teacher and what to expect from learners. The unit gave a brief overview of the expectations learners have from teachers and how the behaviour of teachers can shape the learning experience. There was also an overview of the categorisation of learning stages, how best to recognise those stages and some thoughts on how to approach teaching these different stages of learning. I have little experience in teaching so this overview has given me something to think about for future endeavours in the teaching field.
