In this unit I learned about the different teaching styles and the basis of the TEFL methodology. I learned how to engage students in the lesson with various examples of how to do so and also the importance of doing so. The most important thing for me in this unit was the general lesson plan of Engage, Study, Activate and the various methods like patchwork, boomerang or straight arrow techniques. I really liked that there were so many examples for each stage and I will use some of them with my current students. The section on correction and feedback were also very useful. A very interesting unit.
