This unit mainly talked about textbooks and what their advantages and disadvantages are. Personally, I'm a firm believer in having the textbook lay the foundation for the class, but not let it control the class. I believe this because it will always give a student something to look back to, whereas without use of a textbook, they might have no help outside of class. This unit also had many examples of role playing activities and created materials that could be useful in the future.
