This unit covered modal auxillary verbs, passive voice, relative clauses and phrasal verbs. Each of these areas contained a number of sections including forms and usages (modal auxillary verbs and passive voice)and categories and types (relative clauses and phrasal verbs). The unit also provided teaching ideas as well as highlighting the numerous difficulties students typically encounter when learning to understand and use modal auxillary verbs.
