The future tense and its various forms is discussed in this unit. In comparison with present and past, future tense is more difficult to understand, because some of its forms such as future perfect and future perfect continuous represent a very abstract idea which is not so easy to grasp for speakers of certain languages,as they lack such structure where an action is being continued in a point of time considered past from a future point of view that has not happened yet. Another confusion that students may have , arises from similarities between some future forms with other future forms such as future perfect and future perfect continuous , or some future forms with present tense forms such as confusing present continuous and 'going to ' future .
