This unit confronted the dreaded classroom management nightmares that every teacher has at some point; however, it also provides important tools with which to deal with the issues that teachers may run into. The things that stuck out to me were: teacher positioning and role, TTT and STT (i.e. how to reduce TTT in order to maximize STT), classroom arrangements, group settings, and teacher rapport. In addition, I found the section on problematic student situations to be very informing, as it not only gives internal reasons for students misbehaving, but also provides alternative ideas for the misbehavior, some of which can come from teachers not evoking respect or interest from students.
