In this unit, parts of speech were the main focus, such as getting the full range knowledge of nouns, verbs, adverbs and so forth. It first delved into the general description of what each was, but then broke it down to having multiple forms, such as verbs benign action or a state. An example of this being, "She is running." versus, "He seems angry." this both is describing an action of the individual. The unit breaks down each part of speech with clarity and sets good examples of sentence structures. It has helped me have a better understanding of the English grammar as well as a good template to be able to teach students the different types of nouns, pronouns and so forth.
