This unit covered teaching the productive skills of speaking and writing. Various classroom speaking activities were discussed. This included controlled activities, guided activities and creative communication exercises. The lesson concluded with an overview of writing in the classroom. The individual components of writing such as penmanship, spelling, layout and punctuation were discussed. The differences and difficulties in teaching this were also touched upon.
