Although I was already familiar with most of the methodologies of teaching English to non-native speakers that were presented in this unit, I still learned a lot because I have never hear about the Engage-Study-Activate (ESA) methodology. It really made a lot of sense to me and I love the flexibility it gives the teacher; the study stages do not have to happen in the same order. So based on the level of students you are teaching and the topic or language points you want to present, there can be multiple stages per lesson. I have been converted and I am now a true believer in the ESA methodology.
