This unit covered evaluation and testing techniques. There are six main different types of evaluation done by institutions, they are as follows:
- Placement tests
- Diagnostic tests
- Progress tests
- Practice tests
- External exams.
In the course, their unique traits were discussed and evaluated. Placement tests are designed to determine the level of the students english, diagnostic tests determine students aptitude and see what students already know. Progress tests are used periodically to gauge what language has been remembered. Practice tests follow the structure for external exam.
