Unit 19 delved into how to work with various types of student groups and I found a lot of the advice and suggested activities very useful. I have taught all types of beginners from a very young age, but I have only done individual lessons for half a year and I have no experience teaching business English. Considering the landscape of English education in Japan, it is very likely that I will be in a job either teaching private individual lessons or teaching business English at a Japanese company. Either of the jobs have sounded both intriguing and interesting, but also a little daunting. I am excited to have been given the advice in this section, and I am looking forward to using it to good effect in my future career.
