This unit was useful for me to get the sense of what kind of materials I’ll use in class. Seeing the advantages and disadvantages of a course book helped me to see that much preparation is required in order to make sure my students get the best out of the class. This unit also brought out the importance of being flexible in the materials I use, this would include published work and authentic materials.
