This unit covered the different strategies and techniques to managing a classroom. One take-away quote I wrote down was that a teacher doesn't "need to be an extrovert to be a good teacher." Going off some of my own courses and roles I've taken on as the student and participant, I believe this to be true. Three major keys to carrying out a successful lesson include: maintaining eye-contact, using gestures, and understand how to use one's voice.
