The overview of different methodologies with commentary on strengths, weaknesses and possible appropriate applications helped me to better understand the ESA approach and how to use its flexibility to best advantage. The emphases on elicitation, engagement, activities, and positive reinforcement concur with my own ideas about effective teaching, so I am now even more excited about facing the challenges of my upcoming adventure than I was before studying this lesson.
