In this unit I learned about the receptive skills which are reading and listening. There are also productive skills which are writing and speak, and both receptive and productive skills are equally important but this unit focuses on the receptive. When selecting text to teach receptive skills it is important to choose carefully so you can expose the students to authentic and non-authentic materials.
