Future tense is the most complex tense as compared to Present and past tenses. Apart from four common forms of tenses, we have 'going to' future and 'present simple' and 'present continuous' forms of future tenses, which are actually used as present form of tenses, but have future applications. Students mostly get confused in 'going to' future tense and 'present' tenses with future applications. Activities like making holiday or party plans, future career plans, making weather forecasts will help the students learn the language form better. Teaching these alongwith the present tense forms will also help the students understand the difference between simple present tense and present tense with future applications. We should also make sure to maximize the student talk time and focus should be the target language during activate stage of the lesson so that they are able to use the language freely which will help them become more fluent in the language.
