In this unit I learned the pros and cons of using coursebooks in the classroom and also the advantages and disadvantages of using authentic and created materials for the classroom. I have been using the internet to make my own materials for a while and have never used a coursebook other than what my students use at their schools when helping with homework. maybe I will start looking for a few now.
