This unit expatiated on evaluation and testing in English language teaching; the different ways of testing students progress and language level such as through tutorials, evaluation by students themselves using a questionnaire or guided discussion and also using tests such as placement, diagnostic, practice and progress test,each for different specific purposes. I have garnered information on how and why these tests are conducted as well as some general external exams that I might have to prepare students for such as Cambridge exams(FCE,KET,and PET),TOEFL among others.
