This unit talked about speaking and writing skills, and highlighted the importance of including both accuracy and fluency activities. Accuracy activites, most similar to the study phase, help students learn pronunciation, spelling, vocabulary, and practice grammar, while the fluency phase allows students to express themselves freely and creatively. It was useful to see examples of activites to use for both speaking and writing and how to combine them in one lesson.
