In this unit, I learned the importance of creating lesson plans that are specific but still flexible (not too rigid). I learned how to record learner objectives, general goals for the class, and to anticipate problems for both the students and the teacher. This unit also gave helpful examples of worksheets to use for various topics. What I found most helpful was the emphasis put on incorporating Engage, Study, and Activate in various lessons to make the class more effective and interesting.
