This unit was about the kinds of tests and evaluations teachers can use to understand where the student is at with regards to their English education. I learned about when certain kinds of evaluations and tests are useful and at which point during the course they can be administered. For example, placement tests are given before the start of the course and diagnostic tests are given right at t the start of the course. This unit also gave a list of what external examinations that students are able to take and which can also serve as a kind of goal that students can work towards in their studies.
