this was a more challenging unit which was focused on pronunciation and phonology. This unit introduced a large amount of new vocabulary that would be needed to teach on the aforementioned subject, such as the place of articulation, the manner of articulation and phonemes. I was also forced to take a detailed look at my own native language and discovered many things I never thought of before. For example, the sound dropping in the word 'mountain' or the slight difference between the pronunciation of the 'th' sound in 'that' and 'math' etc. This unit will most likely require a review later on.
