This unit has a promising title. Other than that there is not much useful information. The "Engage," "Study," and "Activate" suggestions are terse lists without much guidance or information. Ultimately the message is "teach appropriately" which is frustrating to hear from a teacher. Do it right. But how? How will I know what vocabulary is "appropriate" to a class of 8 individuals at different levels? I feel no closer to knowing how to teach grammar, vocabulary, or language functions.
As further evidence of the futility of this lesson I'll point to recycled questions from past tests that aren't even the subject of this lesson (numbers 12-14).
Teachers should expand this unit to make it helpful or remove it.
