According to this unit, the future tense can be perceived as quite complex in the sense that other tenses and ideas can intermingle with future tenses to create future meanings or implications. For instance, in the sentence "I am going to town next month," the first part of the sentence, "I am going to town..." implies both a present and continuous event, whereas the latter part "...next month" indicates a future event, thus making this sentence fall into the future tense or "future family."
