Understanding the Tense system in English may seem a bit daunting at first, but when one begins to analyze how it logically follows a pattern based upon the three main tenses, present, past and future with their respective four parts for each tense, it becomes easier. This unit which focuses on the present tense starts with the three forms, Affirmative, Negative and Question leads wonderfully into the usages with corresponding example sentences. I especially enjoyed the sections encouraging ideas that a teacher could use for that tense during the Activate Stage.
