The discussion of the different types of syllabi was very helpful, as I can imagine that depending on the outcomes desired by the company / organization that the students work for, this would change. Ex. Situation syllabi would work best for a business focused on specific situation language skills, while an institution desiring a more complete, but general knowledge of English acquisition would be better suited by a structural syllabus. The note that the classes could vary wildly in both language skill and managerial levels was also welcome. It could become difficult to keep office politics out of the classroom if some students are reluctant to practice or show slower progression in front of their department superiors.
